how will you show it?
No two people are alike, so why do so many senior portraits look alike?
Most portrait studios use the same basic routine with every person they photograph. I have a different philosophy. I believe that people deserve photos that capture who they are as a person. Photos taken in unique settings, which showcase their individual style, and that capture who they are as a person.
So how do senior portraits work?
First, book a sitting. This can be done at the bottom of this page, just above the photo galleries.
When you book a setting, I will contact you to set up video interview, which can be done over Skype or Google Hangouts. An interview will allow us to get to know one another. We will discuss location, the look that we are going for, and schedule the shoot. Plan to spend between 1-3 hours on the shoot itself. Senior portraits are a huge milestone and I want to make sure we have enough time to get plenty of photos you will be excited about.
When do I get my photos?
The price of your session includes a USB flashdrive, which will be shipped to you within 2 weeks of the session. This card will have two folders, one containing all of the photos taken during your session and the other containing my personal favorites that have been fully processed and touched up.
Additionally, I offer an a la carte menu for printed photos. I do all of my printing in house and can provide high definition printing in all sizes*. (Table with options and prices below)
How much does a session cost?
In the U.S. the cost of senior portraits can reach $580** for sessions where the photographer maintains all rights to your photos, and only lets you have the photos that they choose.
That's not how I do things, for $150 you get all of the photos taken in the session to do with as you please, editing of the best photos included and most importantly; a unique and personalized session that truly captures the senior as they are at this important point in their life.
